The journey of a woman who turns to music to survive a near-lethal medication. Follow Emma through her recovery and healing as Cassette Monkeys creates a documentary.

In 2012 Emma contracted a virus while teaching. Something was wrong, so she went to the doctors, only to be told it was anxiety after meeting doctors for just 10 minutes without any follow up appointment.

For the next year Emma struggled to breathe, and after moving abroad was told her lung capacity was at 60%.

Lack of oxygen lead to trauma, trauma lead to severe anxiety, severe anxiety lead to another medication.  A medication that proved to be even more dangerous. She needed treatment for her lung problems, instead she suffered for 10 years from a misdiagnosis that almost cost her life.
